The diversity in climatic conditions is due to the diversity of the yemeni topography. Climate in the coastal regions is characterized by high temperature with humidity during the summer and moderate weather during winter. The mountainous and interior regions are rather moderate during summer and cold during winter. The climate is different in the eastern regions where temperature could reach 40 degrees during the summer. Between these regions ( sana'a, mareb, taiz, ibb ...etc)the climate is transitional . and affected by the monsoon wind. Generally nice weather during the summer and a little bit cold during the winter.

Most of Yemeni People are Muslims who live along with a minority of Jews and Christians..

The world's first highrise houses were built here - six and seven storey houses constructed of dark basalt stone and sundried mud bricks. Intricately decorated with elaborate friezes, their windows are a complex infrastructure of round and angular shapes, and with the panes, until recently, being made of alabaster, they represent a unique architectural heritage.

Among the historic landmark sites in Aden are the Tawila Water Tanks, Sira Citadel and other lively Islamic sites like the Aden Mosque and Minaret.
